What's New in ORP Production

In the new update of ORP there are two subjects. These are:

• Bulk status update

• Excel Import Adjustment

Bulk Status Update

There were many request from you to change the status of multiple products at once. Just like the bulk change (for example) channel assignments. This is now possible in the catalog product screen.

You just need to select at least one product and the option will appear above the product overview table.

How to select to set the status

In the dropdown under the ‘More actions’ button you will find the option to ‘Set status’ .

An pop-up window will appear. In this window you can set status for the selected products and their variants.

After clicking on the button ‘Assign’, the products will be set to the selected status.

Excel Import Adjustment

In order to process the import of attribute names with an underscore, we have adjusted the construction of the naming of the field.

old situation:

PREFIX_FIELDNAME_LANGUAGE_TYPE, for example: Attribute_Description_en_TEXT.

The problem was if the FIELDNAME had an underscore, the structure didn’t meet the requirements to import correctly.

For example: Attribute_Sku_Description_en_TEXT would has a different meaning than Attribute_SkuDescription_en_TEXT.

new situation:

PREFIX_[FIELDNAME]_LANGUAGE_TYPE, resulting in Atrribute_[SKU_Description]_en_TEXT.

We improved the navigation structure. The reason was to be more on par with similar tools and more in sync with connected platforms. The improvements are only on the navigation structure of ORP. Nothing has changed to the main section of the UI.

Which are:

• Removed top bar navigation and shifted to the left

• Combined and renamed some items in the navigation

• Differentiation between business and system/setting functionalities

We created improvements on the process manager screens to make it all more efficient and easier to use.
1)The processes filter was default set to NEW > now there is no default anymore and you can select from a dropdown. You can select more than 1 filter (in process status and also select other filters) and then click apply.

1. Requested by is a new field. At the moment this will always say ‘System’, but in the future this might mention the name of the person who triggered the process.

1. When you click on ‘Extend log file’you will be able to see the first few lines of the log file. Before you had to go to details and download the file first, so this is a great improvement.

1. And one final small but nice improvement: de detail tab now opens in a new tab instead of in the same tab.
