New Navigation Structure

On this page there will be explained how the new navigations structure for ORP is constructed and what the differences are with the previous navigation structure. The deployment of this navigation to production has been completed on 24th of May 2023. If you have any questions, you could always get in contact with our support team.

The navigation structure is improved on the following subjects:

  • Removed top bar navigation and shifted to the left

  • Combined and renamed some items in the navigation

  • Differentiation between business and system/setting functionalities

 

Top Bar

In the previous navigation the top bar navigation included Scope selection, settings and log out. These has been removed and moved to the left navigation. Only button which stays in the top is the ‘What’s new' button. The items are moved to the left navigation to make the navigation more compact and more clear for the users.

Combining

The items in the navigation are now organized in a way, that it is making more sense. Also the items are now more in line with connected and similar tooling. For example all product related items are now combined in menu item ‘Catalog’. Further on in this page, you can find how the menu is now organized with clarifications.

Business > System

In the menu there is now a clear difference between business items, all related to order and product information, and system items, as user and application settings. The system items are now in the bottom of the left navigation.

Based on your personal user rights some items can be not accessible or visible

Based on the configuration of ORP, the dropdown will show the different scopes. This box was in previous version in the upper right corner.
