How to upload images to Salesforce B2B

To upload an image to Salesforce B2B please follow these steps:

  1. Login into your PCM environment

  2. Click on Products left on your navigation menu

  3. Click on All Products

  4. Select a specific product you would like to add an image to by clicking on the product code ID

  5. Click on the button ‘edit images’ on the top right corner of the page (see image 1).

  6. A pop up will appear, simply drag the image file or click on add image to upload a new image
    In case you forgot to check something on the product detail page while the pop up is open and the boxes checked for removal, simply click outside of the pop up and your configuration will be still there when you get back to the ‘edit images' pop up.

  7. Lastly, click on the button ‘Save changes’.

  8. Head over to your FTP server, the image file(s) should be generated once the images are added and saved in ORP. see image 2

9. Select all the image file(s) and drag this to your desktop to download the files

10. Select all the images and click on compress to zip the files. see image 3

11. Login to your Salesforce environment

12. Navigate to your CMS Workspace

13. Select your workspace or create one in the top right corner. see image 4

14. Click on the dropdown arrow and select the import content, you can choose to publish content when importing

15. Once imported, you will receive the following message, stating you will receive an email with the results. see image 6

16. We now have imported the images in Salesforce, the next step will be to publish the image in case you have not done this yet when uploading. see image 7

17. Select the image to publish and you will have successfully imported your images. see image 8

Note: The images will be automatically assigned to the right products.

 

How to delete product images

To edit a product image please follow these steps:

  1. Login into your PCM environment

  2. Click on Products left on your navigation menu

  3. Click on All Products

  4. Select a specific product you would like to edit by clicking on the product code ID

  5. Click on the button ‘edit images’ on the top right corner of the page

  6. A pop up will appear, simply tick the checkbox, you will see a 'x' red letter appear in the checkbox (see image 2).


    In case you forgot to check something on the product detail page while the pop up is open and the boxes checked for removal, simply click outside of the pop up and your configuration will be still there when you get back to the ‘edit images' pop up.

  7. Lastly, click on the button ‘Save changes’ to complete the process.
