How to do the Channel Hierarchy mapping yourself

Your company might not only sell products on your own webshop, but also on different platforms. Therefore you need to do the channel mapping.
We made some changes to our PCM so you can easily do this yourself now via drag & drop!

Update 24 jan 2023: At the moment this is not available in all staging environments soon, but this will be rolled out as soon as possible.

Location in ORP: Configuration > Channel management > Channels

1)Select the channel you want to map and click on 'Hierarchy Channel mapping'.

Via the CTA’s you can Expand or collapse your entire hierarchy, so it’s quicker to see what categories are available and what is or isn’t mapped yet.
On the left you see your own Hierarchy and on the right you see the hierarchy of your chosen channel.
You can only map categories with a checkbox in front of it.
Is the box checked and it has the red stop sign behind it? That means it is already mapped that category behind the errors.

3) So how does it work?

In the example above you see that Duvet cover isnt mapped yet.
Drag Duvet cover (on the left) to the category of the chosen channel to the right and drop it on the category you need.
Duvet covers will now also have that green tick and the channel assignment behind it

Note: you can save after each step/ assignment….or you can save it on 1 go. All up to you.
