How to add a product 

Create a product

To create a product follow these steps:

  1. Login into your PCM environment

  2. Click on Products left on your navigation menu

  3. Click on Add Product (see image 1)

  1. Step 1 select your main category and sub categories and click on continue to step 2

  2. Step 2 select the product type and click on continue to step 3

  3. Step 3 select your desired main color and color description and click on continue to step 4

  4. Select your desired product size group, this can be a simple or complex product.
    An example for a simple product is a book, this is a product that does not have different variants such as colours and sizes. An example for a complex product is a T-shirt, this is a product that can consist of different variants such as colours and sizes.
    Once you have selected your product size group, proceed by clicking on ‘continue to step 5’.

  5. Define your product by selecting the brand, segment, quality and season values and click on continue to step 6

  6. Last, fill in your product name and click on Add product (see image 2)

Notes: All these steps must be filled in to successfully add a product, otherwise you will get an orange pop up error above on the top of the page stating that the required fields must be filled in.

After the product is successfully queued for creation. It will take a few moments to be able to see the product added in PCM.
