NOTE: To import/export images in bulk is possible by using the ORP FTP-server. 
ORP will import images in PIM PCM en will automatically update the images of the products.

To add images in bulk, please follow these steps:

  1. First we will have to create the import map on the FTP-server (see image 1).

  2. Before we start uploading the images, all the images need to have the correct format. This is for the images to be connected to the right product groups. (Click to see an example of a format code)

  3. Make sure to save all your images in the required image formats. (Click to see the supported image formats)

  4. From your PC, drag all the images to the correct channel folder (see image 1).

  5. After your image has been uploaded successfully, the image file disappears from the folder you have uploaded it to (see section 4. 'Archiving')

  6. Lastly, the images will be successfully uploaded into

After your image has been uploaded successfully, the image file disappears from the folder you have uploaded it to. The image will now be visible in PIMPCM. To see the historic image uploads on the FTP, navigate to /archive/images. In this folder (image 3) a full list is shown of all the images that have been previously uploaded.

After uploading images on the FTP, it takes approximately five minutes for the images to appear in PIMPCM. On the product page of the product, the images are visible on the right side of the page (image 4) with a carousel of thumbnails. Each image filename will appear underneath the image after clicking on it.
